Cold Brew Tea for summer nights

With summer approaching shortly, we are highlighting our cold brew tea drinks! 
We are so excited to sit down and drink these refreshing blends while enjoying the evening sunlight. 

Our summer tea drinks are an alcohol-free drink full of health benefits. We believe in treating your self as well as your body with goodness!

We start with cold brewing our tea, we recommend to cold brew a big jug of the tea overnight so you have tea for the whole day to come. 

  • We usually take 1 teaspoon of tea leaves for every 250-300ml of cold water.
  • Brewing time can be between 4-10 hours.
  • You can use any tea you want but we find green and white tea the best.

The beauty of cold brewing tea instead for brewing the tea in hot water and letting it cool down is that the cold brew tea doesn't get the bitterness you usually find when you brew tea hot. When you brew your tea in cold water the tea leaves infuse their flavors much slower and it takes a long time until the tea leaves start to release the bitter notes.

When it comes to enjoying your cold brew tea drink, you can be as creative as you want, these drinks we kept the tea unsweetened and working with herbs and fruit. 

Cucumber gives a really refreshing taste to the tea although it's quite strong in flavor and can easily take over the tea taste, so we like adding the cucumber in at the end, you will find what works best for you!
