A long breakfast on the weekend is one of our favorite things in life. When we have nothing planned, we usually treat ourselves with an extra long and cozy morning. Sleep a little longer than usual, make a cup of tea, sit on the couch under a blanket and then make the perfect weekend breakfast. We like to vary the breakfast but one favorite is sourdough bread with avocado and fried egg. And do you know what goes perfect with the toast? Our Saturday Tea. The combination is so delicious!
What you need:
1 slice of sourdough bread
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
Heat up a pan and add the olive oil and the butter. Lay down the bread and make sure it gets a nice crispy surface. Fry the egg, but only on one side. Mash the avocado with a fork. Place the toast on a plate and spread the avocado on top. Place the egg on the avocado and add some sea salt and chilli flakes. Sprinkle some chopped spring onion and you have a perfect weekend breakfast.
